developer and owner of the simSCADA and simNET software products, a software-based simulation suite for SCADA/DMSs.

(Electricity, Water and Gas providers) in the form of software engineering
consulting services and bespoke software development.
Our customers
within this sector are the operators of the network assets. Our area of
expertise is with the mission critical, real time IT systems that are used to
monitor and control the operation of the networks and provide first line
response to fault and emergency conditions within those networks.

Whilst we acknowledge that simulation systems geared for training already exists in the electricity
transmission sector, we believe that Opal Software is the first to implement a vendor independent simulation system
which caters for electricity, water and gas distribution, as well as electricity transmission. Through the development of simSCADA and simNET, these products meet not only end-user training needs, but also allow for an innovative means of testing and commissioning of the systems themselves.
